As a Lead AEM Developer, you’ll drive the development and maintenance of critical customer-facing systems, ensuring they deliver seamless, secure, and high-performing experiences. With a strong focus on AEMaaCS, you’ll help streamline operations, enhance customer journeys, and support strategic growth through cutting-edge digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Development: Lead the development and consolidation of multiple financial platforms into a unified, scalable, and efficient digital experience.
  • AEM Expertise: Build, optimize, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations to meet evolving business needs, with a focus on AEMaaCS.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and vendors to define and execute a digital strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry regulations.
  • Omni-Channel Support: Enable marketing teams with tools to deliver omni-channel campaigns, including landing page creation, lead tracking, and personalized client journeys.
  • Performance Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, enhance page speed, and improve core web vitals to ensure fast and efficient user experiences.
  • System Integration: Integrate AEM with internal systems such as CRM, analytics, and marketing automation platforms to streamline workflows and reporting.
  • Team Development: Establish a Center of Excellence for AEM by mentoring team members, building internal capabilities, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Compliance Focus: Ensure solutions adhere to data privacy and regulatory requirements while maintaining robust security protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Extensive experience (5+ years) in AEM development, particularly with AEMaaCS.
    • Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular), HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.
    • Expertise in modular development with OSGi and build tools like Apache Maven.
    • Experience with API-first, headless architectures and integrating CRM, analytics, and marketing platforms.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a plus.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and oversee third-party development activities.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business priorities.
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation:
    • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
    • Interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms in regulated industries.
  • Experience implementing A/B testing, on-site personalization, and analytics-driven improvements.
