Job Summary:
A skilled Full Stack AEM Developer is needed to support an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Managed Services engagement for a high-profile enterprise digital platform. This role focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining AEM-based solutions, ensuring efficient content management, system performance, and seamless third-party integrations. The ideal candidate has expertise in AEM development, Java, modern front-end frameworks, and cloud-based deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
AEM Development & Customization
- Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and services following best practices.
- Implement Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, OSGi services, and AEM client libraries for efficient content rendering.
- Ensure code compliance, security best practices, and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated deployments.
System Integration & Performance Optimization
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party services, ensuring smooth content delivery.
- Optimize AEM performance, including page load times, caching strategies, and Dispatcher configurations.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as New Relic, CloudWatch, Icinga, and Adobe Looking Glass to track system health and resolve issues.
Front-End & User Experience Enhancements
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to develop dynamic, reusable Experience Fragments and Content Fragments.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) and implement SEO best practices.
- Utilize React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to create engaging user experiences.
Cloud & Infrastructure Support
- Work with DevOps teams to manage AEM deployments in AWS and Adobe Cloud Manager.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure optimizations.
- Troubleshoot server configurations, security patches, and performance bottlenecks in coordination with IT teams.
Issue Resolution & Support
- Provide technical support for AEM-related incidents, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
- Track and resolve issues within a ticketing system (ServiceNow, ADO) while meeting SLA commitments.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents, ensuring rapid response and resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on AEM development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (OSGi services, Sling Models, JCR APIs) for AEM custom development.
- Experience with front-end technologies, including React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and web services for AEM integrations.
- Experience with AEM deployment pipelines, Dispatcher configurations, and cloud-based hosting (AWS, Adobe Cloud Manager).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex AEM performance and integration issues.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of MuleSoft for API integration is a bonus.
